Prime Minister Saad Hariri has received a phone call from UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, during which they discussed the ongoing preparations for the Rome conference, which is aimed at shoring up support for the Lebanese army and security forces, and the Ceder conference of Paris to back the Lebanese economy. Hariri thanked Johnson for Britains assistance to Lebanon on the security, economic and humanitarian levels to cope with the burden of Syrian refugees, the prime minister’s office said Sunday. They also discussed bilateral relations and developments in the region, it said. The Rome conference is scheduled to be held on March 15 while the Ceder or Paris IV donor conference has been set for April 6. Hariri will be attending both conferences.
