Saudi Crown Prince Chairs Council of Economic and Development Affairs Meeting

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, chaired in Riyadh on Tuesday a session for the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, reported the Saudi Press Agency. (SPA). The council reviewed a number of issues on its agenda, including the presentation by the Ministry of Finance on the fourth quarter report on the performance of the Kingdoms budget for the previous fiscal year. The report included a review of the financial performance of the state budget, the index of operating and capital expenses and deficit and public debt indicators. The meeting also discussed the annual report on the vision of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 presented by the Office of Strategic Management of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development, which included a detailed presentation of the progress achieved during 2017 in all vision realization programs, developments of macroeconomic indicators, indicators of vision objectives, impact and outcome analysis and the most prominent risks.
