Saudi Interior Minister Meets Algerian PM, Number of Officials

Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, met with Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia and a number of officials. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the latest developments at regional and international levels. Prince Abdulaziz received on Tuesday separately the ministers of interior of Bahrain, Iraq and Lebanon, who congratulated him on his election as Honorary President of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. Prince Abdulaziz also met with Algerian Minister of Justice Al-Tayeb Louh, who is also the Republics holder of official seals. The two officials discussed the relations between the two countries as well as a number of issues of common interest. Later, the Minister of Interior visited the National Institute of Forensic Evidence and Criminology of the Algerian National Gendarmerie. Upon his arrival at the headquarters, he was received by the Algerian National Gendarmerie Commander Major General Menad Nouba and a number of senior gendarmerie officers. During his visit, the Minister was briefed on the institutes units, its work mechanism and its programs. Part of his discussions, Prince Abdulaziz met with the Speaker of Algerian National Assembly, Abdelkader bin Saleh. During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between the two countries as well as a number of issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials. The Minister of Interior also paid a visit to the Command and Control Center in Algiers, where he was briefed on the activities of the center. Upon arrival, Prince Abdulaziz was received by a number of officials.
