King Salman Appoints, Promotes 24 Judges at the Court of Grievances

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a royal order to appoint and promote 24 judges at the Court of Grievances. President of the Board of Grievances and the Administrative Judiciary Council, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed al-Yusuf indicated that the order included the promotion of five judges from judge of appeal to the rank of president of an appeals court. In addition, three judges were promoted from the rank of president of court-A to the status of an appellate judge and one judge was promoted from the rank of president of court-B to president of court-A. Similarly, four judges were promoted from the rank of under-secretary of court-A to president of court-B, five judges from the rank of under-secretary of court-B to under-secretary of court-A and five judges from judge-A level to under-secretary of court-B. The King also appointed one judicial lieutenant. Yusuf commended the king’s permanent support for the judiciary and lauded his constant efforts.
