King Salman Asserts Saudi Arabia‘s Firm Stance on Any Hostile Attempts against its Security

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz asserted Saudi Arabia‘s firm stance addressing any hostile attempts against its security during a phone call from King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa following the Houthi missile attack at Saudi capital, Riyadh. King Hamad expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian-backed Houthi ballistic missile attacks on the Kingdom. He affirmed Bahrain‘s support to Saudi Arabia in taking all the measures to defend its territory, maintain its security and stability and protect its people. The Custodian thanked the King of Bahrain for his noble feelings. In addition, Bahraini Cabinet condemned, in the strongest terms, the firing of ballistic missiles by coup militias in Yemen on Riyadh targeting civilians in Saudi Arabia. During its session, the government lauded the competence of the Saudi Armed Forces for their outstanding ability to intercept the missiles, describing the attack as heinous and cowardly. The session reiterated Bahrain’s full-fledged support for Saudi Arabia, and backing of all the measures it deems necessary to counter the failed and desperate attempts made by the coup militias to target security and stability in Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. Earlier, King Salman received a cable from King Hamad strongly condemning the attack on the Kingdom from within Yemen. He pointed out that this "criminal act that targeted the security and safety of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people is contrary to all international laws, values and principle." The King affirmed Bahrains sympathy with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its security. The Custodian also received similar cable from Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in which he denounced the strongly condemned the Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia. Bahrain Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa also sent a cable to Saudi King condemning Houthis militias and the ballistic missile that targeted the Kingdoms security.
