Senior officials of the Arab League Economic and Social Council kicked off in Riyadh on Wednesday a preparatory meeting for forthcoming 29th Arab Summit, reported the Saudi Press Agency. In a key speech at the opening session, Dr. Khalid bin Suleiman Al-Khudairi, Saudi Undersecretary for International Affairs of the Finance Ministry, affirmed that the agreement on investment of the Arab capital among the Arab countries was amended in line with the latest developments in the investment world. The meeting dealt with a number of issues, including the Palestinian cause, Israeli violations in Jerusalem, the Syrian crisis, development of the Arab League, combatting terrorism and a number of economic and social files. The Arab League summit will be hosted by Dammam, Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
