Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, continued on Thursday his official visit to Spain by meeting several senior officials and overseeing the signing of six agreements covering the military, economic and cultural fields. Prince Mohammed met in Madrid with Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy to discuss bilateral ties and the Saudi-Spanish partnership and ways to develop it. They followed up their talks by overseeing the signing of six deals, Memoranda of Understanding and bilateral programs covering defense, air transport, education, culture, technology and development. The Crown Prince and Spanish Defense Minister Maria Dolores de Cospedal signed an executive summary to facilitate the necessary procedures that allow the Saudi Defense Ministry to sign a contract to receive ships provided by the Spanish Navantia company. The deal will bolster defense cooperation between the two countries. Earlier, Prince Mohammed held talks at the Spanish Defense Ministry with de Cospedal.
