CAIRO: An entire family of five was found murdered inside their home in an upscale Cairo district on Sunday. The bodies of the family members were found inside their villa in Al Rehab compound, located in Cairo’s Fifth Settlement district, after residents reported strange odours in their home. A security source quoted by local news website Masrawy said the bodies found amid blood stains belong to a family consisting of a mother, a father, two sons and a daughter. The crime scene suggested that the murderer intended to take revenge on the victims, the source suspected. Local reports said the father was an owner of a contracting company. Investigations are currently underway to inspect the villa’s exits, and those who last visited the crime scene. The phone call records of the victims are also being checked, reports have added.
