Saudi Arabia to participate in international Qur’anic contests

Sultan bin Ibrahim Al-Azmi from Hail and Ahmed bin Ayman Bitar from Makkah are to participate in a contest in Turkey Saudi memorizers of the Holy Qur’an will participate in international Qur’an contests during the month of Ramadan. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance nominated Sultan bin Ibrahim Al-Azmi from Hail and Ahmed bin Ayman Bitar from Makkah to participate in a contest in Turkey. The ministry nominated Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Sa’awi from Qassim to compete in Dubai, and Saif bin Ali Alsni Al-Olayani from Asir to participate in Algiers. The secretary-general of the Holy Qur’an Contest, Mansour bin Mohammed Al-Sameeh, said participants in the international Qur’an contests are owning to the good efforts of King Salman Contest for Holy Qur’an Memorization and Interpretation.
