Saudi Arabia Launches Ramadan Breakfast Project in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) launched on Thursday the breakfast project in several Yemeni governorates on the first day of the holy fasting month of Ramadan as part of the center’s humanitarian efforts towards the Yemeni people. On Friday, 1,450 breakfast (iftar) meals were distributed in the Marib governorate, 775 in al-Muhra hospitals, 1,290 in the Shabwa governorate and 200 in al-Jawf governorate. KSRelief also launched the breakfast project in Aden on Thursday with the aim to distribute 264,080 meals in 13 Yemeni governorates during Ramadan. The meals were distributed to displaced camps in the Buraiqeh area in the Aden governorate. Meanwhile, KSRelief distributed 1,500 out of 76,250 food baskets in the neighborhoods close to the health institute in the Taiz governorate, which will benefit 9,000 people. The distribution comes within the framework of the humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom, and represented by the center, for the Yemeni people. A total of 260 projects have been launched so far by KSRelief in Yemen.
