RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s air defense system shot down a ballistic missile launched from Yemen toward the southern border province of Jazan, the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday. Authorities confirmed that a Pakistani man was injured lightly after being hit by falling debris from the intercepted missile. The Iran-backed Houthi militia had repeatedly fired missiles toward Saudi Arabia, which is leading a coalition of Arab countries in supporting forces loyal to the UN-recognized government of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.
