The Arab coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen announced on Saturday that it thwarted an attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen to target international navigation in the Red Sea. The Saudi-led alliance said that it seized Houthi fishing boats loaded with rocket-propelled grenades. On Friday, the coalition announced that it granted four ships entry to Yemen’s Hodeidah port during the past 24 hours. It said that six ships were waiting to unload their cargo at the port, while seven others were awaiting to enter the strategic port in western Yemen. After 68 days of being obstructed by the Iran-backed Houthi militias, the Great K ship was allowed to enter the Red Sea port. After a 39-day forced delay by the militants, the Volante was also granted entry, said the Arab coalition.
