King Salman Orders Treatment for Conjoined Tanzanian Twins at the Kingdom’s Expense

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin AbdulAziz, ordered the treatment of conjoined twins from Tanzania in Saudi Arabia at the expense of the kingdom. Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Tanzania is finalizing arrangements as part of the royal decree to treat the twins; starting with a visit by a delegation from the embassy to the twins at the Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. They were received by the hospital’s director, Dr. Lawrence Museru, as well as the twins’ mother. The delegation received the necessary medical reports while arranging their travel within the coming days to undergo the surgery, SPA reported. The Tanzanian government has welcomed the Saudi Arabian gesture, praising the Kingdom’s pioneering humanitarian role.
