King Salman Receives Eritrean President in Jeddah

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz held talks in Jeddah on Monday with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki, reported the Saudi Press Agency. They addressed bilateral relations and ways of bolstering them in all fields. They also discussed the latest regional developments. The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan, Minister of State for African Countries Affairs at the foreign ministry, who also serves as the Eritrean President delegations guide minister; and Dr. Abdullah bin Sultan Al-Sharif, Acting Charge dAffaires at the Saudi embassy in Eritrea. The meeting was also attended by Eritrean Foreign Minister Othman Saleh Mohammed, Special Advisor to the President Yamani Fabrab Wildi, and Director of the Presidents office Amin Hasan. The Eritrean president had arrived in the Kingdom earlier on Monday and King Salman hosted a luncheon banquet in his honor.
