Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport has approved the operational plan for the Hajj pilgrimage for this year, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The plan is being supervised by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in cooperation with government and private sectors to service pilgrims from the moment of their arrival in the Kingdom and until their departure. Director General of the airport Essam Nour said that GACA, along with other sectors, has dedicated its efforts to prepare the practical arrangements for the pilgrims’ arrival. Some 2.89 million pilgrims are expected to arrive and depart from the facility. The successes achieve at the airport are in line with the keenness of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on providing the best services to the pilgrims, stressed Nour.
