Muslims around the world marked the Eid al-Adha holiday on Tuesday, as pilgrims in Saudi Arabia took part in the symbolic stoning of the devil, the last major ritual of the hajj pilgrimage. The pilgrims walked to a complex in Mina to throw pebbles at three columns. Muslims believe the devil tried to talk the Prophet Ibrahim out of submitting to Allahs will there. King Salman bin Abdulaziz took to Twitter to say it was a "great honor" to welcome the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia. In Makkah, Muslims performed Eid Al-Adha prayer at the Grand Mosque, which was led by Imam Sheikh Faisal Ghazawi. In Madinah, Muslims performed the Eid prayer at the Prophets Mosque, which was led by Imam Sheikh Salah bin Mohammed Al-Bedair and attended by Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region. Prayer was performed in Riyadh at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque and attended by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Acting Governor of Riyadh Region. Eid prayer was also performed in various regions of the kingdom.
