Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz expressed on Sunday his satisfaction with the organization of this year’s annual Hajj pilgrimage. He had followed up on the massive efforts exerted by government and civil agencies in servicing the pilgrims throughout the Hajj season. He made his stance in a response to a cable he received from Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the High Hajj Committee, who congratulated him on the success of the pilgrinage. King Salman added that the services and measures provided by the ministry allowed the 2,372,675 pilgrims to perform the rituals without incident. He also congratulated the minister on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha holiday. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, also sent a similar cable to the Interior Minister.
