JEDDAH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is also vice president of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, paid tribute to the Saudi military in his speech to celebrate the Saudi National Day. He affirmed that the Kingdom’s 88th anniversary is an occasion to recall the achievements of the country’s founder, the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud and his sons after him. The crown prince also praised the Kingdom’s growth and prosperity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman. Crown Prince Mohammed’s comments also highlighted the Saudi people’s efforts to achieve the objectives of Vision 2030 and underlined the great success of the last Hajj season. He also stressed that the Kingdom would remain steadfast in the principles of tolerant Islam, the religion of moderation, and in fighting extremism and terrorism. He likewise stated that no one would be allowed to attack the sovereignty of the Kingdom or tamper with its security.
