Discount deals from some destinations Uber looks to boost regional operations LONDON: Uber and Emirates have announced an exclusive partnership that will provide Emirates passengers visiting Dubai from select international countries with discounted airport rides. Visitors to Dubai from Australia, Egypt, France, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa will be able to avail special offers from Uber on bookings made between Sept. 26 and 10 Dec. 10, the pair said in a statement. To avail the special offers, travelers will need to book an Emirates Economy Flex or Economy Flex Plus fare on flights from Australia, Egypt, France, Saudi Arabia, South Africa to Dubai. Economy Flex Plus passengers will get one free ride from Dubai International Airport to anywhere in Dubai up to the value of SR122 while Economy Flex passengers will get 50 percent off one ride from airport to anywhere in Dubai up to a value of SR61.
