The Museum of Illusions opened its doors in Dubai, offering countless mind-bending optical illusions to amuse its visitors. The international chain museums first debuted in the Croatian capital Zagreb in 2015 and has been expanding rapidly ever since, said Varvara Svishcheva, manager for the new museum. The tricks, which require spaces, lighting and mirrors, have been designed by a team of designers and architects and developed as mental games that blow peoples minds. A visitor, Avatika Singh, said her visit to the museum was "a very unique experience." "The only thing we can keep from this museum is memories, so we took a lot of pictures, and we still have many areas to visit. We have had a good experience, its a great place to come and visit," she added. Svishcheva explained: "With the opening of the new museum in Dubai, the UAE now features the ninth Museum of Illusions in the world." She said that this unusual museum complements the entertainment scene in the city. Many schools organized field trips for their students to visit it, to enjoy mystery and educational tricks. The entrance fee is AED 80 (about $21) for adults and AED 60 (about $16.3) for children under 15. The museum cost is worth AED 4 million (about $1 million) and it is the second of its kind in the region. The first was opened in Muscat last year, and the chain is scheduled to open six more museums in different cities around the world by the end of the year, said Svishcheva.
