Riyadh will host later in October the second edition of the Gulf Cooperation Council Economic Forum, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Sunday. The event will be held under the patronage of Saudi Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed bin Abdullah AlQasabi. It will take place on October 21 and 22 and witness the participation of government officials and business and economic leaders. Head of the Gulf Chambers Federation, Mohammed Thani Mershid Al-Rumaithi said that the Gulf Economic Forum is part of government and GCC private sector efforts to strengthen economic cooperation. The forum’s agenda will cover economic integration and investment opportunities in the GCC.
