The star-studded festival will take place in the city’s 117 Live Arena and features a stellar line-up, including singer— and Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra’s fiancé — Nick Jonas, Gente De Zona, The Mariachis and Dubai-based duo Hollaphonic. An EDM DJ, Jeffries is known for her hip-hop-infused dance music and hit single, “Wait,” which she is likely to play for the crowd. Over the past few years, Jeffries has traveled across the globe as part of her whirlwind career as a DJ and influencer and Dubai is set to be the latest pitstop on the up-and-coming artist’s calendar. The 24-year-old is set to release her debut EP, “Calculated Luck,” and will play a mix of tracks from the album, as well as popular crowd-pleasers. Meanwhile, South American four-piece The Mariachis, the official band of the Doritos TV commercials, will get people moving with their up-tempo covers. The musicians are no strangers to the limelight, having performed at such prestigious festivals as Glastonbury and Wireless in the UK and having taken their act to the screen with performances on the likes of “The One Show” and “The Graham Norton Show.” In 2016, the band was chosen by Rod Stewart as the support act for his UK stadium tour, which saw them perform to more than one million people. Greg Stainer and Olly Wood of Hollaphonic will showcase their signature electronic beats after garnering praise for their 2017 show at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as well as receiving rave reviews for their set at Creamfields Abu Dhabi. Headline act Nick Jonas is set to perform a bevy of his hits, including “Jealous” and “Close,” while Cuba-based musical act Gente de Zona will show off their unique mix of reggaetón and Caribbean beats.
