Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) and Etihad Airways signed in Jeddah on Monday a joint code agreement which provides greater choices for passengers to reach more than 40 destinations, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The two carriers also announced ambitious plans to achieve more trade cooperation in other fields, including engineering and maintenance services. The agreement was signed by SAUDIA Director General Saleh bin Nasser al-Jasser and Etihad CEO Tony Douglas. Jasser said the deal stems from the strategic ties that bind Saudi Arabia with the United Arab Emirates.
