Saudi Board of Grievances chairman praises efforts of court leaders

Al-Youssef also inaugurated the active board of the Judicial Performance Management System Board of Grievances Chairman Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef has praised the heads of administrative courts for their efforts to follow up court proceedings to ensure fair results. He thanked the government led by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for its unwavering support to the judiciary. He made his remarks during the recent opening of the annual two-day meeting in Riyadh, which was attended by the heads of administrative courts of appeal and the heads of administrative courts at the Board of Grievances in the region. Later Al-Youssef inaugurated the active board of the Judicial Performance Management System, through which the ombudsman aims to achieve the highest standards of judicial work. Following up on the work progress according to a clear and systematic plan, allowing detecting outputs and measuring coveted goals as per the strategic plan of the Ombudsman 2020. The meeting discussed best practices in court administration, international work mechanisms for courts excellence and evaluating their performance, which includes knowledge of international action to characterize the work of courts and mechanisms of evaluating US courts. Participants reviewed the World Bank report on the performance of courts and judges, and the role of the courts in developing the economy through adjudicating administrative contracts claims, in addition to courts management and restructuring, international quality standards in courts administration, the most important applications in courts administration, the role of judges in pursuing lawsuits, the best practices in streamlining court procedures and managing cases that include the definition of modern lawsuit management.
