The scholars who called on the king included members of the Permanent Committee for Ifta and the Council of Senior Scholars JEDDAH: King Salman received the Kingdom’s grand mufti, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh, and other senior scholars and religious figures at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday. The scholars who called on the king included members of the Permanent Committee for Ifta and the Council of Senior Scholars, imams and preachers of the two holy mosques, members of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The audience was attended by Shoura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh, and the general president of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Sanad.
