The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah palace on Sunday the guests of writers and intellectuals of National Festival of Heritage and Culture "Al-Janadriyah 33. The reception ceremony started with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. During the reception, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques delivered the following speech, as reported by SPA : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and companions, Dear Guests, Dear attendees, May Allahs peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you. I welcome you as guests of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the National Festival of Heritage and Culture in its 33rd session. I also welcome the participation of sisterly Republic of Indonesia as the guest of honor in this session. This festival embodies the Kingdom of Saudi Arabias heritage, reflects the diversity of heritage in our country, contributes to enlightening young generations of this heritage, and contributes to the promotion of global cultural communication, as your presence here confirms this. The culture represents in its comprehensive concept a key common factor among the peoples of the world for promoting security and peace and consolidating the concept of coexistence and global dialogue for a better future. I welcome you again in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing you all success. The speech of honored dignitaries for this year was delivered on their behalf by Dr. Samar bint Jaber Al-Hamoud. She expressed appreciation for this honoring which is a constant approach of this blessed country to encourage and provide incentives for male and female citizens. Then, the speech of the Festivals guests was delivered by President of the Union of Tunisian Writers, Dr. Salah El-Din Al-Hammadi, who addressed the King, saying "Your patronage of this festival and receiving us are a clear and bright proof of your interest and attention to culture as heritage, thought, literature and creation. At the end of the reception, the guests greeted the King. The audience was attended by Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinets Member, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and a number of princes.
