At least three people were killed Tuesday in a suicide attack on Libya’s foreign ministry in the capital Tripoli. Three attackers opened fire on the building before two of them managed to get inside and blow themselves up. The other was killed by ministry guards, a security source said. The health ministry said nine people were wounded. The assault was carried out by several "terrorist attackers", according to the Government of National Accord official TV channel, which cited foreign and interior ministry sources. Plumes of smoke were seen rising from the building, witnesses said. There was no immediate claim of responsibility. In September, ISIS claimed responsibility for a suicide attack on the headquarters of Libyas National Oil Company in the heart of Tripoli which left two dead and 10 wounded. Four months earlier, it claimed an attack on the electoral commissions headquarters which left 14 dead.
