JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman oversaw the graduation of the 95th batch of student cadets from the King Faisal Air Academy at the Riyadh-based college’s headquarters. Mohammad bin Salman presented awards to the outstanding Saudi students during the ceremony, as well as certificates to graduates from other countries. The crown prince and the audience then viewed an air show of the Saudi Falcon aircrafts, highlighting the strength, efficiency and readiness of Saudi pilots, as well as good training and workmanship. During the ceremony, the college’s commander spoke of the loyalty and steadfastness of the air forces and the other branches of the Armed Forces, which” display high capabilities that match the basic tasks and keep pace with development and modernization, in accordance with the constructive plans and the generous support of the Kingdom’s leadership.” Commander of King Faisal Air Academy, Maj. Gen. Khalid Al-Laaboun said: “Here is a group of sons from this benevolent country that are honored today to join in keeping up with the glory and pride, armed with knowledge and faith, determined to spend what is precious and good in the defense of religion, the king and the homeland.” “Their brothers from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of the Sudan and the State of Kuwait have joined to share in their joy today after the years they spent in achieving and studying,” he was quoted by the Saudi Press Agency as saying. The graduates then delivered their speech, represented by graduate Faisal bin Saleh Asiri, in which he expressed honor for the crown prince’s patronage of the graduation ceremony in its 95th session. He expressed gratitude and appreciation to the college board and its affiliates; for their efforts in educating, preparing and training the graduates.
