Muslim World League chief meets with Singaporean and Taiwanese officials

RIYADH: Dr. Mohammed Maliki bin Osman, Singapore’s senior minister of state for defense and foreign affairs, has been received by the secretary-general of the Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, in Riyadh on Thursday. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common concern. Al-Issa also received a delegation from Taipei, led by its cultural and economic representative, ambassador Ibrahim Ting Seng Peng.  Earlier, the MWL chief underscored his eagerness to build bridges with all countries, so as to achieve better global cooperation and communication. The Supreme Council of the MWL also praised the Kingdom’s pioneering role in the Muslim world, its religious importance, its history of supporting international security and peace efforts, and its fight against extremism and terrorism.
