Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari has said that he would follow up on recent remarks from the Kingdom’s finance minister, Mohammed al-Jadaan, at the World Economic Forum in Davos that Riyadh would support Lebanon to protect its stability. Following talks with former Lebanese president Amin Gemayel on Thursday, the diplomat said he will follow up on Jadaan’s statements from the Swiss resort town, adding that the Kingdom would adopt some mechanisms in that regard. Riyadh works on preserving Lebanon’s security, sovereignty and stability, said Bukhari.
