JEDDAH: The case against three employees of Al-Oula, a company owned by broadcaster beIN Sports, will be heard on Feb. 25, it was announced on Thursday. If the defendants fail to appear, the case will go ahead in their the absence. The first tripartite circuit of the Saudi Specialized Criminal Court said that it had been unable to contact Youssef Mohammed Hassan Al-Obeidli, Tariq Darwish Ali Zainal and Mohammed Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al-Subaie. The decision to proceed with the case against them was made in accordance with Article 25 of the Saudi Penal Law for Crimes of Terrorism and its Financing. The court added that it hopes the defendants or their representatives will attend the hearing, and that they can get a copy of the allegations against them from the Specialized Criminal Court.
