Saudi Arabia welcomed on Tuesday Britain’s decision to blacklist Lebanon’s Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, reported the Saudi Press Agency. An official source at the Foreign Ministry deemed the move an “important and constructive” step in counter-terrorism efforts in the world. It added that it also follows the Kingdom’s sanctioning of the party’s political and military wings. The international community must follow in Saudi Arabia and London’s footsteps and take a firm and united stance against terrorist militias that are destabilizing the region, it stressed.
