DAMMAM: A triple helping of cultural events has been lined up in Saudi Arabia as part of a range of Sharqiah season activities.The Kingdom’s General Authority for Culture (GAC) will participate in various events taking place between March 14 and 30 under the title “Sharqiah Culture and Potentials.” On the first day, activities will be held simultaneously in three different cities.An interactive multimedia exhibition will run at the King Abdul Aziz Center for World Culture, in Dhahran, with more than 2,000 paintings by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh. At Alkhobar Waterfront, a cultural village will be set up for nine consecutive days showcasing every region of the Kingdom and using advanced display systems to merge Saudi heritage with modern-day culture. And hundreds of Saudi artists will take part in a major exhibition in Al-Jubail Industrial City until March 26, which is being organized in collaboration with the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
