UNESCO honors Saudi Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsin

PARIS: On the occasion of the World Poetry Day, the director general of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Audrey Azoulay, honored the poet Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsin for the artistic contributions he has made over the past 40 years. The event took place at the opening of the poetry evening held at the organization’s headquarters in Paris, France. It was accompanied by an art exhibit displaying 36 of Abdul Mohsin’s paintings. Among the attendees were the Saudi minister of culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Kingdom’s ambassador to France, Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari, and the president of Misk Initiatives Center, Badr Al-Asaker.
