RIYADH: The Culture Ministry will launch its vision at the King Abdul Aziz Historical Center in Riyadh on Wednesday. The launch will take place in the presence of Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan and other princes, ministers, officials, intellectuals, diplomats and the media. The vision will include a range of policies and initiatives, as well as a summary of the ministry’s previous efforts to develop the cultural sector and make it an important contributor to the national economy. The ceremony will include a song titled “The Epic of the Kingdom of Love and Peace,” composed by Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen, president of the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts. Prince Badr met with a large number of Saudi intellectuals to listen to their views and find out the obstacles to achieving their aspirations. In preparing its vision, the ministry organized workshops with local specialists, international experts and relevant bodies.
