Four attackers targeted on Sunday a security checkpoint in eastern Saudi Arabia as they tried to flee the country, leading to the death of two and the arrest of two others. The incident occurred at Abu Hadriyah, a highway connecting the Kingdoms Eastern Province with neighboring Bahrain and Kuwait, sources said. Three of the attackers were on a list of wanted suspects from al-Qatif region, they said. The sources added that the operation took place away from built up areas.
