The Syrian Coalition released a press statement condemning the destruction of the Yasamin camp for Syrian refugees in Lebanons Bar Elias, Bikaa, claiming that it was carried out by elements of the Lebanese army. The Coalition called for the release of those who were detained and for the compensation for those who were affected. "The camp belongs to the Union of Relief and Development Associations" the Coalition noted. "It is imperative that the Lebanese authorities launch a full investigation." The Coalition further stressed its rejection for any attempt to force the refugees to return to Syria under pressure. "The Syrian Coalition renews its rejection of any attempts to force the Syrian refugees to return to Syria in the current conditions involving serious risks posed by the Assad regime and its allied terrorist militias."
