Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi received in Cairo on Wednesday Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Shiekh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two leaders discussed the latest regional developments, most notably the sabotage attack against four vessels off the United Arab Emirates’ coast near Fujairah. They are addressed the drone attack, by the Iran-backed Houthi militias, against Saudi oil pumping stations, said presidency spokesman Bassam Radi. Sisi expressed Egypt’s complete solidarity with the UAE and Saudi Arabia against all attempts to undermine their security, stressing that the security of the Arabian Gulf was an “integral part of Egypt’s national security.” Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said that talks tackled bilateral ties and joint efforts to confront threats to regional and international peace and security.
