United Nations envy to Libya Ghassan Salame held talks on Saturday with Libyan National Army commander Khalifa Haftar. The two officials met at al-Rujmeh where they discussed the circumstances that led to the outbreak of current fighting and the humanitarian situation in Tripoli, said the UN mission. They also discussed ways to accelerate the transition towards reaching a political solution.
