TUNIS: Tunisian Minister of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy Mohammed Al-Anouar Maarouf opened the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) Exhibition for Radio and TV and Shows Market on Saturday, accompanying the 20th Arab Festival for Radio and TV in the City of Culture in Tunis. Representatives of ASBU members are taking part in the festival, alongside the Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Mohamed bin Mahmoud Al-Ali. The Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) is also taking part in the event through a pavilion exhibiting its activities and development strategy. In her statement to the SPA, SBA’s Sharouq Qattan said the main objective of this participation was to introduce and promote its productions in the audiovisual field by shedding light on the authority’s distinguished work. The exhibition includes 59 pavilions for member commissions, radio stations, Arab TV networks, Arabic-language channels, production and distribution companies, international broadcasting equipment manufacturers and suppliers of related services and technology. The exhibition aims to keep pace with the rapid technological transformations in the respective fields associated with broadcast media. SPA Tunis
