Al-Sawaha highlighted to the Americans the Kingdom’s regulatory reforms and policies which had contributed to the expansion of the Saudi ICT sector and, in turn, encouraged investment in the country’s digital infrastructure and research and development centers. He called on US companies to strengthen their presence in Saudi Arabia, which he said was a promising digital center for prosperity in the region. The meeting also discussed digital economy issues and the role of networks and modern technologies in supporting the expansion of government services and providing greater access to broader horizons that serve digital transformation.
