The Saudi Embassy in Beirut has announced the success of the first phase of the Crisis and Emergency Management Plan to evacuate Saudi nationals and ensure their safe arrival at Rafik Hariri International Airport. In a statement on Saturday, the embassy thanked the Lebanese army and Internal Security Forces, expressing hope that Lebanon will enjoy lasting security and stability. On Friday, Saudi Arabia warned its citizens against travel to Lebanon in wake of the eruption of nationwide protests.
