Saudi King Receives Cable of Congratulations from Kuwait Emir on Inking of Riyadh Agreement

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received on Tuesday a cable of congratulations from Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the signing of the Riyadh agreement on Yemen. The agreement was signed in Riyadh on Tuesday between Yemen’s legitimate government and the Southern Transitional Council (STC). King Salman sponsored the ceremony, which was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi and STC chief Aidarous al-Zubaidi and several senior officials. Sheikh Sabah hailed the great role played by Saudi Arabia in bridging the divide between the Yemeni government and STC, which led to the signing of the agreement. This will help unify the Yemeni ranks in order maintain the security and stability of the war-torn country, said the cable. King Salman also received similar cables from Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
