The Grammy-nominated artist who gave us “Love Me Like You Do,” “Burn,” and “On My Mind,” will take over the stage at Dubai’s Coca Cola Arena on Jan. 10. It will be the first time the multi-instrumentalist, who tied the knot with art dealer Caspar Jopling in August, performs in the region since September 2015, when she touched down in the UAE for Dubai Music Week. The chart-topping musician also rang in the New Year in Dubai back in 2012 at the Sandance festival’s massive New Year’s Eve party at Atlantis, The Palm alongside Rita Ora and Zane Lowe. Goulding broke out in 2010 with her album “Lights.” Since then, she’s received two Grammy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination. According to media reports, she’s currently working on a fourth studio album that’s set to be released next year. The multi-award-winning artist’s appearance at the Coca Cola Arena will come after a performance at the “Red Kettle Kick-off,” a half-time concert that will take place during the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Buffalo Bills in the US. Goulding is not the only performer set to take over the indoor arena in the coming weeks. Other artists set to hit the stage include iconic R&B group Boys II Men, who will be belting out some of their biggest tunes in the UAE for the first time on Dec. 19. Music lovers can also look forward to concerts by American star Russ in March, One Direction alum Louis Tomlinson in April and heavy metal legends Iron Maiden in May. The forthcoming concerts are the latest in a string of live performances by some of the top international artists in the region. This weekend, Abu Dhabi will play host to the Formula 1 Grand Prix, and for the occasion a drove of superstars are descending on the UAE capital to perform. Artists headlining the Yasalam After-Race concerts include Future and Gucci Mane on Nov. 29, Lana Del Ray on Nov. 30 and The Killers, who are closing out the event on Dec. 1. Meanwhile in Saudi Arabia, rappers Lil Wayne, Future and Tyga will perform at the Diriyah Music Festival on Saturday, Nov. 30, as part of the country’s Ad Diriyah Season.
