The Lebanese designer unveiled the label’s first-ever childrenswear line, Elie Saab Junior DUBAI: Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab has partnered with two Italian companies to unveil the label’s first-ever childrenswear line, Elie Saab Junior. The fashion house is collaborating with apparel design firm Simonetta and shoemaker Andrea Montelpare on the new range that will launch with the Elie Saab Junior shoe line at the Andrea Montelpare showroom in Milan on Jan. 13. On Jan. 16, the Elie Saab Junior kidswear Fall 2020 collection will be unveiled at the Pitti Immagine Bimbo trade fair in Florence. “This line incorporates our unique DNA allowing us to accompany even the youngest in their style journey offering pieces that fit their tastes and sensibilities, and that are crafted with care and attention to detail,” Saab said in a statement. “We are proud to include this prestigious luxury brand in our licenses portfolio, Niccolò Matteo Monicelli, chief executive officer of Simonetta, added. The collection will feature tactile fabrics and fairy-tale aesthetics, with dainty dresses, lace and silk galore and accent shoulders for girls and suits and checkered coats for boys.
