Saudi Arabia has pushed for the implementation process of the nationalization policy of workforce in its private sector. This came as part of its campaign to support Saudis in the business sectors such as institutions, companies, and factories. The government is set to provide allowance amounting to 50 percent of the Saudi employees’ monthly salaries, in addition to raising the subsidized ceiling wage value to SAR15,000 ($4,000). The Kingdom’s Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) launched on Sunday a campaign directed to private sector establishments. It aims at supporting the employment of Saudi men and women within the employment support program to raise their skills. It is noteworthy that Hadaf bears a percentage of the wages of Saudis working in the private sector. This support is represented in stimulating private-sector establishments to employ and train Saudis with a contribution from the fund, in order to raise the contribution of national human cadres and provide them with the necessary skills the market needs. It called in a statement for activating the “employment support programs” account from the list of programs to provide job advertisement data after selecting the type of work and sending it on the portal page. This way, job seekers can apply for the job. It also stressed that the establishment cannot join the support program before the recruitment phase is completed. The statement indicated launching new amendments to the support controls in the employment support program to raise skills. These amendments include abolishing the article, which requires employees to stop work for 90 days, so that the job seeker is allowed to apply for the jobs announced in the program, provided that the job is not in an establishment owned by the same owner the seeker used to work for.
