No country has ever held the 50 over and Twenty20 World Cups at the same time but England have the tools to become the first double champions. In Eoin Morgan they also have a captain whose ruthlessness has not been dimmed by World Cup success and he will show his hard edge by dropping Dawid Malan, despite the 32 year-old scoring a century in his last Twenty20 for England. Malan smashed a 51-ball 103 in Napier in November but was criticised by Morgan after the game for not taking a bye off the final ball of the innings, with the captain believing he was protecting his average.
