No country has ever held the 50 over and Twenty20 World Cups at the same time but England have the tools to become the first double champions. Malan smashed a 51-ball 103 in Napier in November but was criticised by Morgan after the game for not taking a bye off the final ball of the innings, with the captain believing he was protecting his average.
