Ocado founder Tim Steiner received a bumper pay packet of £58.7m last year, one of the highest ever handouts for a FTSE 100 boss, despite the company revealing a £214m loss on Tuesday. Finance chief Duncan Tatton-Brown and chief operating officer Mark Richardson took home £15.8m each, while Luke Jensen, the head of Ocado"s coveted technology business, was rewarded £8.5m - more than the majority of blue-chip companies" leaders. The company, which was hit by shareholder dissent over pay for its top brass last May, has also said it will hike base salaries for most of its executive directors to stop them from defecting to other businesses.
