Saudi FM in Germany for Munich Security Conference

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrived in Germany on Friday to head the Kingdom’s delegation to the 56th Munich Security Conference. He received Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama for talks on bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as the latest regional and international developments. Prince Faisal also received United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen. They discussed the latest developments in the Syrian crisis and the UNs efforts to de-escalate tensions. The minister later met with President of the International Crisis Group, Robert Malley for talks on the Middle East and latest regional and international developments. The three-day Munich Security Conference kicked off on Thursday with participation of a number of heads of states and governments, foreign and defense ministers and senior officials to address current crises and security policy future challenges. Prince Faisal had arrived in Munich from the United States where he held talks with numerous American officials on bilateral ties and regional and international affairs.
