A Cambridge don who resigned after a string of sexual harassment claims self-published an “erotic adventure” novel set in a fictional Oxbridge college. Dr Peter Hutchinson, a former Trinity Hall lecturer in modern and medieval languages, published the racy novel titled First Time: Ooh-la-la in 2015, under the pseudonym Barry Able. The academic was barred from Trinity Hall and from contacting students in 2017 after a string of allegations were made against him.
