A Cambridge don who resigned after a string of sexual harassment claims self-published an “erotic adventure” novel set in a fictional Oxbridge college. Dr Peter Hutchinson, a former Trinity Hall lecturer in modern and medieval languages, published the racy novel titled First Time: Ooh-la-la in 2015, under the pseudonym Barry Able. The academic was barred from Trinity Hall and from contacting students in 2017 after a string of allegations were made against him. Last October the college backtracked, saying the decision was "incorrect" and that the retired lecturer in modern and medieval languages would be able to attend certain college events and exercise dining rights.
